DeVry reaches out to military veterans

DeVry plans to offer the college experience to the veterans.

As per Randy Plunket, national director of military affairs for DeVry, Representatives from the University, government agencies and student-veterans group will be taking part in the discussion and the ideas produced by the panel could be implemented as part of pilot program shortly.

DeVry has been working with veterans since the end of World War II. As veterans return from Iraq and Afghanistan, they will be able to go for college education , but with special needs.

DeVry offers a different environment than the normal colleges campuses, since the students are older, more focused and will be entering their chosen fields immediately after graduation.
